Jiaohun is a 3D first-person psychological horror game. The game starts with a man waking up in a dark room, surrounded by old-fashioned Chinese-style interior decors. Not remembering what happened, he must explore the building and discover the story behind a village controlled by an alien-related cult.

The project was developed with Unity, and I took the role of the lead/system developer. My main responsibility was to build the fundamental systems that supported the game’s runtime, including the character controller, the input handler, and the UI manager. I also developed in-game utilities based on the level designer’s specific requirements. For instance, the designer might need a door to glide towards a certain direction after interacting with the knob, and I would write controller scripts for this functionality.
