Nyaggin'

萬里晴空白雲轉，風吹舊案卷殘篇。

wàn lǐ qíng kòng bái yún zhuàn, fēng chuī jiù àn juǎn cán piān.

Thousands miles of sunny sky, the white clouds passes; the wind blows over the old desk and flips the unfinished page.

路上行人徐行過，橋下涼水水潺潺。

lù shàng xíng rén xú xíng guò, qiáo xià liáng shuǐ shuǐ chán chán.

The pedestrians on the road walk slowly; the cold water under the bridge flows soundly.

二十三歲平常日，而今欲想復流連。

èr shí sān suì píng cháng rì, ér jīn yù xiǎng fù liú lián.

23 years of normal days; and now I want to stay for more time.

臨程入室再一瞥，車馬轔轔身似鳶。

lín chéng rù shì zài yì piě, chē mǎ lín lín shēn sì yuān.

Before leaving, I enter the room for yet another glance; the car wheel rotates, my body is like a kite.

匆忙駕騎京城外，一出唐關箭在弦。

cōng máng jià qí jīng chéng wài, yì chū táng guān jiàn zài xián.

Hurrily driving out the capital city; once I got out of the country, it's like an arrow on the bow.

扶搖直上渡東海，日月星辰耳邊遷。

fú yáo zhí shàng dù dōng hǎi, rì yuè xīng chén ěr biān qiān.

Flying all the way up to cross the East Sea; the sun, the moon and the stars are passing by my ear.

兄弟他鄉可作伴，陽關西面誰相戀？

xiōng dì tā xiāng kě zuò bàn, yáng guān xī miàn shuí xiāng liàn?

Brothers could be accompanies in a foreign place; going far out to the west of Yang Guan, who can I love?

東望滄海思故土，故土親舊皆不見。

dōng wàng cāng hǎi sī gù tǔ, gù tǔ qīn jiù jiē bù jiàn.

Looking far towards east to the broad sea, reminiscing my hometown; all missing in my hometown are my families and my friends.

但見蠶叢及魚鳧，前途漫漫何茫然！

dàn jiàn cán cóng jí yú fú, qián tú màn màn hé máng rán!

I can only see groups of silkworm, fish and ducks; the future road is vast, how lost am I!

雖於漂洋零丁處，莫話人窮志短言。

suī yú piāo yáng líng dīng chù, mò huà rén qióng zhì duǎn yán.

Although floating in nowhere, I shall not be trapped and have my sight limited.

值在仲春風華時，丈夫當肯作人先。

zhí zài zhòng chūn fēng huá shí, zhàng fū dāng kěn zuò rén xiān.

At this prospering time of the middle of spring, a man shall bravely be ahead of others.
